Overview

The Technical Specialist will be involved in the technical delivery of multiple projects all the way from design to testing and installation. As well as ensuring that project documentation is readily available and reviewed in a timely manner, the Technical Consultant will continuously develop their own knowledge and skillset. The successful Candidate will strive to become a trusted technical expert to build lasting and profitable business relationships with clients. The ideal Candidate will have strong experience of successfully delivering technical security solutions. Job relevant qualifications such as Cisco CCNP Security and CCSE is a minimum requirement. Candidates must have proven experience of working on security projects and security based infrastructure.


Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Design, test and implement technical solutions to meet the business requirements of clients.
  • Coordinate the team and provide hands on assistance with the entire technical delivery of the projects.
  • Produce up to standard project documentation and ensure they are reviewed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all technical documentations are readily accessible both internally and externally.
  • Work closely with the account management team and provide pre-sales technical consultancy as / when required.
  • Contribute to profitability by recognizing additional client requirements.
  • Deliver outstanding technical service to guarantee client satisfaction and ensure repeat business.
  • Strive to become a trusted expert by continuously improving own knowledge.
  • Provide sufficient training to junior team members and share knowledge on latest technologies.

 

Requirements

  • Experience leading or supporting the delivery of successful technical security solutions.
  • Project support and implementation experience.
  • Security certification (Cisco and/or Palo Alto).
  • Exposure to the design, implementation and troubleshooting of security solutions with various technologies such as Cisco ASA, Umbrella, FirePower, WSA, ACS, ISE, FireEye, ForeScout NAC, F%, Juniper SRX, CheckPoint R80.
  • The ability to prepare and carry out network security reviews.
  • Knowledge of 802.1x, Proxy, Intrusion Detection System technologies, Security Policies & Penetration testing.
  • Genuine interest in new and innovative technologies and cyber security measures.
  • Outstanding communication and people skills.
  • Strong English language skills both verbal and written.
  • The ability to deliver complex technical terms to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • The ability to work effectively both as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Demonstrable ability to develop and coach team members.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with commercial awareness.
