The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing and managing business across the assigned region. With expert knowledge of the company’s full product range, the Sales Manager will be responsible for ensuring that forecasted sales and profit targets are met. The ideal Candidate will have a strong knowledge of VoIP and UC technologies and a previous, successful track record within a similar role is essential.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Assist in achieving the company’s annual/quarterly sales objectives by developing, managing and implementing sales plans, budgets and revenues for the region.
Enter new markets and customers directly through newly developed action plans.
Establish solid and effective relationships with existing and new enterprise accounts/ service providers, selling at all levels to the organisation.
Align the channels/ partners to the appropriate enterprise customers in the region.
Work closely with Sales Engineers and other resources to be successful in meeting sales plan objectives.
Attend marketing events, seminars and customer engagements to represent the company in a professional manner.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, selling communication software/appliances or UC to enterprises achieving at least $5M in sales.
Previous experience selling through partners and directly.
Able to communicate and engage with customers at various levels, from operational and technology level through to strategic and decision making level.
Able to effectively identify key decision makers in organisations.
Previously managed a network of partners, distributors and direct sales.
Must have an Engineering degree or equivalent.
Previous UC and VoIP experience is a must.
Experienced in selling Microsoft-based solutions to enterprise IT groups.
Previous experience selling Microsoft UC projects i.e. Teams, Skype for Business.
Driven and motivated self-starter with a desire for sales.
Entrepreneurial nature and strong business acumen.
Able to work effectively in a multinational team.
Awareness of market dynamics and customer requirements.
Will be required to visit partners and customers throughout the assigned region.
