The Service Engineer will be responsible for supporting the company security machines based at a client site in Luton. The Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the machines on site and providing out of hours support where needed.
Responsibilities & Requirements
The Field Service Engineer will support the company’s security machines based at various client sites.
Install, repair and maintain equipment in the field.
Provide customer training as required.
Pro-actively identify faults with machines.
Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment.
Assess product’s performance and suggest recommendations for improvements.
Ensure all documentation of maintenance, repairs and training is completed as appropriate.
Communicate technical issues to non-technical customers.
Strive to increase technical knowledge of company products.
Ensure to deliver an excellent customer service to customers.
Adopt a flexible approach to work.
Act as a professional and friendly company representative at all times.
A background of working within an engineering support role.
Good support and fault-finding skills on machines.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Engineering or electronics qualifications would be beneficial.
Experience of working in the Security or Detection industry is advantageous.
Good communication and the ability to translate technical issues.
