Overview

Our client is a leading, international provider of VoIP technologies. This is a Home-Based role in Poland / Czech Republic / Slovakia / Greece. The Support Engineer will be responsible for providing high level technical assistance to the company's customers both remotely and on site, including troubleshooting, debugging and pre-sales support. Candidates must have proven customer facing support experience, as well as a proven record of working with Telecomms equipment such as VoIP and UC tech.

  • Support the company’s customers and partners on all products, in line with SLAs.
  • Responsible for performing troubleshooting and debugging both on site and remotely.
  • Recreating issues within lab environments.
  • Proactively working towards and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Liaise with backend support teams when required.
  • Carry out administration of customer support accounts externally.
  • Required to directly handle Professional Services activities and support tickets.
  • Act as primary contact between internal contacts and the customer base.
  • Responsible for providing ad hoc pre-sales engineering support and vital customer training.

 

Requirements

  • Proven track record of providing high level technical support to customers.
  • Job relevant degree level education (Telecommunications, Engineering, Electrical, Computer Science).
  • Good knowledge and understanding of support processes and what their requirements are.
  • 3+ year experience in a technical role supporting customers.
  • Previous hands-on experience with Telecom equipment such as Data networking, VoIP & UC tech, MS Servers Infrastructure etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience in writing application notes and project / tech documents.
  • Demonstrable ability to work effectively as part of a high functioning team.
  • Flexibility to support the company’s out of hours services.
  • Ability to travel within EMEA when required.
  • Strong communication and English language skills both verbal and written.
