Our Client is looking for a successful and driven Business Development Specialist to join their growing Sales team. As well as actively qualifying leads and referrals via all channels, the Business Development Specialist will keep in touch with prospects to secure new business opportunities. The successful candidate must have at least 3 years' B2B Sales experience with a proven track record of hitting targets and building pipelines. Experience within a SaaS organization would be highly advantageous. This is an office based role in Dublin, Ireland. Own vehicle as preferred due to location.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Recognize key personnel within accounts to build pipeline and identify opportunities.
Maintain continuous communication with prospects via all channels.
Keep in touch with contacts with the aim of providing field sales teams with qualified appointments.
Actively qualify leads and referrals via all channels.
Ensure that the internal database is accurately updated in a timely manner.
Attend to leads provided by marketing teams to secure new business opportunities.
As a strong team player, work collaboratively with field sales teams in achieving objectives.
Create and deliver high standard product and service demonstrations.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a B2B Sales position.
Proven track record in hitting sales targets.
Strong and confident communicator.
Ability to create and deliver high standard presentation and demos.
Take pride in quality of work carried out.
Hunger to succeed and strives to continuously develop own skills.
Excellent negotiating and influencing skills.
SaaS software sales experience would be highly advantageous.
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Ability to successfully manage own time and prioritise effectively.
