Overview
Our client, a leading provider and developer of finance and leasing programmes is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Vendor Development Exec to join their team. Carrying out prospecting and qualifying new customers primarily over the phone, the successful Candidate will proactively work towards meeting targets and growing the companies revenue through successful sales deals. Applicants must have previous B2B sales experience and a demonstrable, professional demeanour. This is an office based role either our Client’s Nottingham or London offices.
Responsibilities
- Proactively work towards overachieving targets by identifying, qualifying and prospecting new partners and vendors.
- Carry out considerable amount of work over the telephone supported by in person meetings, emails and social media sales tools.
- Create penetration strategies for individual accounts and their respective sales personnel and effectively deliver it via available communication channels, through training and proactive collaboration.
- Effectively manage, build and develop previously won / existing accounts.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the company’s terms, services & products when targeting prospects.
- Act as key point of contact for the company’s partners and vendors.
- Use extensive knowledge of the company’s services to develop further offerings in the aim of improving penetration rates into existing customers’ sales opportunities.
- Be a trusted advisor to the company’s clients and build lasting relationships.
Requirements
- Previous B2B sales experience is required.
- Proven ability to build relationships and successfully develop client accounts.
- Highly driven and results focused.
- C or above GCSE / A Level education as a minimum.
- Well organised with a keen eye for detail.
- Resilient personality with the ability to bounce back easily.
- Good general knowledge of trending technologies.
- Strong communicator both verbal and written.
- Ability to converse and build rapport over the phone.
- Demonstrable business acumen with a professional attitude.
