Overview

Our Client is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Technical Lead to take ownership of the continuous and long-term service improvement cycles within the Azure Stack domain. As the main Technical Expert for the Azure Stack team, the successful Candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of requests and incidents within their domain. Applicants must have proven experience of working with a wide rage of Enterprise IT systems at an advanced level with demonstrable expertise of Azure specific terminology.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing technical relationship with key service providers, in line with SLAs and agreed KPIs.
  • As an Azure Stack SME, act as a go-to person for all technical issues and queries.
  • As a Technical Lead, ensure that ISO27001 certification is achieved.
  • Aid troubleshooting and improvement efforts in close partnership with service providers.
  • Troubleshoot and guide incidents through the entire incident management process whilst understanding the Azure Stack landscape in great detail.
  • Turn technical material into easily understandable, concise information to be read by stakeholders at all levels.
  • Responsible for the effective and productive management of own work in a timely manner, such as technical integrations and post-acquisition migrations.
  • Support the indirect management of internal resources and 3rd parties on improvement and troubleshooting initiatives.
  • Undertake certain financial responsibilities to ensure that cost effective solutions are delivered.
  • Produce valid and accurate cost estimations whilst ensuring that the pre-approved budget is being adhered to.
  • Demonstrate a good working relationship with business owners and ensure efficient licence utilisation.
  • Proactively evaluate company processes and procedures and produce improved suggestions where appropriate.
  • Provide ongoing support with relevant, complex operational issues.
  • Build and manage strong working relationships within the business to understand key drivers.
Requirements
  • Degree level education in related field such as Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of Telecoms industry and related IT infrastructure and applications.
  • In depth troubleshooting, diagnostic and technical capabilities.
  • Azure specific terminology experience.
  • Proven experience of working with a wide rage of Enterprise IT systems at an advanced level.
  • Previous experience of working towards and achieving ISO 27001 certification.
  • Ability to work towards achieving positive customer outcome using an Agile mindset and methodologies.
  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions confidently and effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage own workload whilst also supporting wider team initiatives and goals.
  • Showcase strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of providing effective customer support and championing customer excellence.
