Overview

Our client, a leading, global Contact Centre solutions provider is looking for an enthusiastic, and motivated Customer Support Analyst to join their UK team in this home based role. Applicants require experience in depth understanding of Windows 10 & 11, as well as Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022, VMware, IIS and SQL databases

Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding technical assistance remotely and on site.
  • Deliver excellent 1st and 2nd Line customer support via all channels.
  • Keep the management team updated on ongoing support issues.
  • Use the company’s ticketing system to manage customer issues.
  • Involvement in project related work.
  • Provide assistance with internal IT assignments.
  • Carry out customer configurations and installations in a timely manner.
  • Be hands on to provide urgent assistance at short notice.
  • Collaborate and knowledge share with international Support teams.
  • Create internal support material.
Requirements
  • Undergrad degree preferably within Engineering, Tech or Science.
  • Ideally 1-2 years’ work experience of providing software / technical support.
  • Hardware/Software experience with desktops and servers in a Windows environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communicator.
  • In depth understanding of Windows 10 & 11, as well as Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022, VMware, IIS and SQL databases
  • Effective multi-tasking and prioritisation skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Experienced trouble shooter.
  • Analytical and logical approach to tasks.
  • It would be ideal to have experience with JavaScript or AWS.
  • Flexible to undertake ad hoc weekend, evening duties, and occasional travel.
