Overview

Our client, a UK based software company is looking for an experienced and talented Business Development Manager to create and execute sales strategies and campaigns to win new business within their targeted region. As well as consistently working towards company and individual targets, the successful candidate will be a confident and trusted campaigner for the company’s products and solutions. Applicants must have significant Account Management and Sales background, including field sales. Knowledge and enthusiasm for the SaaS industry is desirable and would be a distinct advantage.


Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Take care of and develop the company’s relationship within own region to drive the growth of customer base.
  • Bring together events to engage, advocate and promote the company’s products and solutions.
  • Present to large audiences.
  • Identify key decision makers and influencers to be able to build positive working relationships.
  • Join forces with internal marketing teams to develop comprehensive marketing campaigns.
  • Effectively manage own pipeline and reporting using SalesForce.
  • Responsibility of allocated customers with regards to monitoring behaviour, understanding what drives performance, and creating contingency plans.
  • Develop and implement best practices to innovate business model.
  • Collaborate with internal teams in order to deliver the desired results and targets.

 

 

Requirements

  • 6+ years proven experience in sales / account management role combined with field sales.
  • Previous experience of solutions sales.
  • Ability to communicate and converse with colleagues and partners of all levels.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate confidence and credibility.
  • Proven track record of overachieving targets.
  • Genuine customer understanding and care skills.
  • Ability to communicate deliverables and results.
  • Previous experience of working together with different internal teams.
  • Strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture when tackling challenges.
  • Results and target driven team player who is able to influence positively.
  • Good knowledge of and interest in the SaaS industry would be highly beneficial.
