Overview

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing key business accounts and developing lasting business relationships. As well as actively working towards identifying and closing new business deals, the Account Manager will work towards business development and revenue growth within existing accounts. Whilst ensuring that customers are matched with the most suitable solutions, the Account Manager will use their sound industry knowledge to build rapport and trust with customers. The successful Candidate must have a successful and proven track record of selling into the telco industry.


Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with operators to contribute to the signing of contracts for new partnership working across several regions.
  • Responsible for the account management support for partners.
  • Ensuring contribution to the company’s budget is upheld.
  • Ascertain MNOs and MVNOs in key regions to create and maintain communication with key contacts.  
  • Provide information and training on industry regulations ensuring there is a sound understanding of the need for the company’s input.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders to provide vital and relevant information of the company’s products and services.
  • Structure and implement a plan for each MNO providing all relevant company information.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and colleagues to manage schedules, meetings and agendas, including the arranging of meetings, capturing key agenda items and taking ownership of any follow up meetings to ensure service requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the ongoing delivery of services is being upheld.
  • Be responsible for being the first point of contact and account management for international teams to offer solutions to any queries that may arise.
  • Proactively observe and report account activity to project owners, emphasising any important issues that need to be raised with stakeholders.  
  • Maintain good knowledge on industry and market updates globally, focussing on competitors.
  • Proactively offer and deliver support to partners in all regions, including the UK.

 

Requirements

  • Experience of working with job relevant MNOs.
  • Background in sales and account management, along with stakeholder management and communication, demonstrating the ability to manage projects from start to launch.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to initiate conversations with numerous stakeholders and contacts at the correct level.
  • Always demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude.
  • Be able to identify any problems and deal with them appropriately and independently in accordance to company process.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills to best implement strategies, including liaising with teams, communication with customers, scheduling meetings and having oversight of projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with operators, relevant stakeholders and support teams.
  • Proven knowledge and experience of working with contractual frameworks such as SLAs.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
