Our client, a VoIP and data services provider is looking for a proactive and hands-on Sales Engineer to join their team in the UK. As well as providing consultancy level support to enterprise clients, the successful candidate will support on site sales teams, provide pre-sales expertise and perform crucial training ahead of deployments. Amongst many more, applicants must have significant VoIP experience and knowledge of IP Telephony and UCaaS.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Provide consultancy to the company’s enterprise customers on deployments and migrations.
Provide the necessary technical support to sales team during on-site sales calls.
Provide high standard, hands-on pre-sales technical support.
Ensure that adequate training is provided to all customers and partners during first installation of products.
Act as main point of contact for all pre-sales technical issues whilst actively training relevant partners and channels.
Ensure that products and services are a perfect technical fit against the customers’ requirements.
Demonstrate expert product knowledge and deliver demos and presentations.
Carry out essential product training during the pre-sales stage.
Provide technical responses to RFP/RFI.
Attend regional marketing events to provide technical expertise.
As primary contact between customers and products, manage interoperability tests for systems.
Support CPE interoperability tests between carrier and the company in this region.
Drive PoC activities within the assigned region.
Significant VoIP experience (SIP, SBC & IP-PBX)
Relevant higher education degree would be ideal (Computer Science, Telecomms, Electrical Engineering)
A minimum of 5 years’ experience with IP Telephony, UCaaS (Carrier /SP and Enterprise domains).
Experience of selling MS products to IT customers would be highly advantageous (Managed Services, Project Deployments included).
Public Cloud Service experience (Zoom, Azure CS, MS Teams, Amazon Chimes or AWS)
Demonstrable knowledge of the technical element of sales processes.
Strong knowledge and experience in Contact Centre solutions (Avaya, Genesys, ININ etc.).
In-depth knowledge of Digital Transformation.
Ability to perform well as part of a multinational team.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Able to deliver presentations efficiently.
Outstanding communication and language skills in English.
