Business Development Representative - EMEA

Our client, a VoIP and data services provider, is searching for a Business Development Representative to join their UK team. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for the qualification and follow up of inbound Sales leads within the UK and EMEA markets and will manage the entire lead process from creation through to sales opportunity and assigning the opportunity to Sales. Previous B2B lead generation/ inside sales/ telemarketing experience within a technology sector is required.

Responsibilities & Requirements


  • Take ownership of all inbound lead management, qualification and tracking throughout EMEA markets.
  • Via email, telephone or LinkedIn, complete outbound target account prospecting/ qualification activities.
  • Initiate communication and follow-ups with prospects to cultivate strong relationships and enable smooth transition from a lead to a sales-ready opportunity.
  • Maintain a focus on growing the pipeline and achieving revenue goals, working proactively with Sales to handover opportunities and review progress.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales to continuously develop lead management processes and outcomes.
  • Develop an understanding of the customer interaction and sales process via Sales teams and VP of Marketing.
  • Gather information on prospects, target accounts and contacts and execute effective account exploration.
  • Ensure all communication activities regarding lead information is meticulously documented in Salesforce CRM and Outreach.
  • Create and maintain heatmap accounts, leads and sales opportunities via Salesforce for a range of partners, providing Salesforce support for Business Development activities in EMEA.



  • Previous B2B lead generation/ inside sales/ telemarketing experience within a technology sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to understand and discuss business priorities or challenges and translate them into technology solutions.
  • Outreach and Salesforce experience is advantageous.
  • Highly motivated and productive when working remotely.
  • Solid time management and organisation skills, with an ability to manage a number of processes simultaneously.
  • Able to engage with prospects and create interesting conversation with key decision makers.
  • Able to maintain awareness of appropriate company issues, products and services.
  • Highly proficient with a range of social media platforms and tools.
  • Goal-orientated, tenacious and persistent, with a strong desire to be successful.
  • Able to work well within a team as well as independently.
  • Solid computer knowledge, including MS Office products.
