The role is responsible for providing outstanding IT support to the company and its client. As well as carrying out key penetration testing and supporting with security procedures, the successful Candidate will actively work to identify systems weakness and provide hands-on assistance with security issues and emergencies. The ideal Candidate must have strong knowledge of Security Technologies, as well as IT Systems and Networking. This is an office based position with our Client, a leading provider of customer experience solutions.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Responsible for providing key IT support to the company and its clients.
Provide vital support with documenting designs and security procedures.
Carry out high standard penetration testing and offer resolution.
Recognize areas of improvement and implement procedural changes.
Assist with identifying system weakness and vulnerability.
Flexible and hands-on assistance with security issues and emergencies.
Work closely with security management teams.
Keep up to date with current and emerging security trends.
Maintain and strive to improve own technical knowledge and skillset by attending relevant trainings and events.
Strong knowledge of IT Systems and Networking and Security Technologies.
Understanding of malware, penetration testing and related technologies.
vSphere Virtualization experience is desirable.
Good knowledge of Windows technologies such as AD, PowerShell and Group Policy.
ITIL framework knowledge and experience would be highly advantageous.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure would be preferred.
Ability to work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills at all levels.
Ability to recognize areas of improvement for efficiency.
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure.
Strong prioritising and organization skills.
Systematic and disciplined by nature.
Ability to run multiple projects at the same time.
Know how to communicate technical terms to non-technical audiences.
