The IT Architect will be responsible for all stages of network design from concept to implementation and delivery. As well as collecting and understanding business requirements to deliver solutions in line with objectives, the IT Architect will provide necessary technical training to end users and colleagues. Whilst ensuring that all current architectures are documented and compliant, the successful candidate will act as a trusted contact between vendors, stakeholders and internal teams to allow the well-organized management and resolution of all incidents. The ideal Candidate will have a proven background within a professional technical environment, as well as proven experience of system design and deployment. The successful candidate will preferably hold a current CCNA Wireless accreditation whilst working towards CCNP (S&R).

Responsibilities & Requirements


  • Take ownership for the entire network design from concept all the way to delivery.
  • Carry out essential reporting and efficient planning of solution deployment.
  • Understand business requirements and document proposed solutions.
  • Review and understand project requirements by using technical proficiency.
  • Provide necessary technical training to end users and colleagues.
  • Be a trusted link between external stakeholders, vendors and internal teams to ensure efficient management and resolution of incidents.
  • Ensure that the proposed solutions meet business objectives.
  • Create and deliver required and timely documentation for handovers and project reviews.
  • Provide support with organizational changes to preserve the value of asset information.
  • Take responsibility for the production and maintenance of architecture documentation to ensure compliance and best practice.
  • Demonstrate strong desire to continuously improve own technical abilities and knowledge.



  • Proven background within a professional technical environment.
  • Proven experience of system design and deployment.
  • Networking and infrastructure experience within a technology services environment.
  • Strong all-around knowledge of Cisco products and technologies is required.
  • Cisco Meraki knowledge and experience would be desired.
  • Preferably CCNA Wireless accredited who is working towards CCNP (R&S).
  • Excellent communication and English language skills, both verbal and written.
  • Effectively manage and prioritise own workload.
  • The desire to continuously expand and improve own technical knowledge and skills.
  • Good listener who is quick to come up with solutions.
  • Transform business requirements into technical solution designs.
  • Demonstrable ability to perform well in a high-pressure environment.
  • The ability to communicate and explain technical terms to non-technical clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work towards tight deadlines.
  • Multi – lingual skills would be highly advantageous (German, French, Spanish, Italian).
  • Strong relationship management skills both internally and externally.
