Overview

Our client, a Voice Communications Software Provider, is searching for a Full Stack Developer to join their growing team. The Full Stack Developer will be required to use both modern and legacy front end technologies to implement Front End applications, and will be expected to deliver high quality code to support the company's platforms. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a previous software development role is required.


Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Be involved in high level design discussions.
  • Contribute to the preliminary project/feature scoping and effort estimation.
  • Using both modern and legacy front end technologies, implement Front End applications.
  • Provide accurate estimates at backlog refinement sessions, taking part in ceremonies associated with Scrum and SAFe Framework.
  • Uphold and deliver the team’s sprint goals.
  • As part of any completed work deliver unit or BDD tests.
  • Ensure defined software requirements are with high quality code.
  • Work closely with DevOps to implement automated development deployment pipelines.
  • Carry out code reviews to ensure the team are delivering high quality code.
  • Wherever possible, support the use of automated acceptance tests.
  • Partake in release testing as required.
  • Ensure bug fixing of released functionality by assisting support and project delivery.

 

Requirements

  • Degree educated or equivalent qualifications / work experience.
  • Software development qualification.
  • Strong technical skills with the following:
    • Python
    • Rest / Web APIs,
    • RabbitMQ
    • C#
    • Angular
    • Azure DevOps, CI, CD
    • GIT / Mercurial / Jenkins
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a software development role.
  • Proven experience of applying DevOps principles and culture.
  • Ability to design and develop secure applications.
  • Able to creatively present system improvement ideas.
  • Strong familiarity with a range of software development lifecycles, such as lean agile and scrum principles.
  • Able to take ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, small organisation.
  • Enthusiastic about technology, product and customer success.
