Overview

This is a Home Based position within South East England. The Skype for Business Implementation Consultant will be responsible for providing outstanding support to the Client’s customers, based on their unique requirements. As well as acting as subject matter expert and trusted escalation point, the Implementation Consultant will design, configure and manage the company's Skype for Business platform. It is essential to have significant Unified Communications experience, as well as a solid consultancy and architecture background within a services organization.


Responsibilities & Requirements

 Responsibilities

  • Offer high standard, reliable technical consultancy to the company’s clients based on their unique requirements.
  • Act as Skype for Business and Lync 2013 subject matter expert.
  • Provide key support around designing and configuring the Skype for Business platform.
  • Work effectively on all stages of projects unsupervised, including implementation and tracking.
  • Continuously improve on own technical knowledge and attend trainings.
  • Responsible for the design, architecture and implementation of the MS Skype for Business.
  • Collaborate with the project management team and advise on appropriate migration methods.
  • Use technical expertise to carry out configuration of Skype before migration.
  • Create and implement efficient contingency plans.
  • Work closely with internal teams to guarantee the capacity of the overall Skype solution.
  • Identify issues and find the most appropriate resolution within required time lines.
  • Show flexibility with remote working and visit customer sites when required.

 

Requirements

  • Must have 70-334 & 70-333 Exams - if not, then must have all of the following; 74-334, 70-336, 70-337, 74-338, 333 & 334 SfB.
  • 5+ years proven Unified Communications experience.
  • Previous experience of Enterprise Voice and using Skype as PBX.
  • Proven knowledge of PBX migration to EV.
  • Deployment and migration experience of SfB 2015 and above, as well as ADFS and Azure AD.
  • Experience with Office 365 and Exchange Online Unified Messaging.
  • Proven experience with Windows 2012 and above, and MS SQL 2008 R2 and above.
  • Exposure to switching, routing, bandwith control, load balancing and service quality.
  • Configuration and deployment experience of EV, PSTN Calling & Conferencing etc.
  • Good understanding of Telecom protocols
  • QOS, Least Cost Routing, Dial Plans,
  • Good overall networking knowledge.
  • Experience of Enterprise and Standard Deployments.
