Overview

Our Client, a leading Customer Experience Technology provider is looking for a skilled and driven New Business Sales Specialist to join their growing team. With a proven track recording in winning new business and closing deals, the Sales Specialist will upsell to existing customers whilst also drive new business initiatives and market research in order to boost revenue and meet wider business objectives. Applicants must have a proven record of success in selling complex technical solutions. This is an office-based role with potential flexibility of remote / home working.


Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business initiatives and close sales deals with new clients and customers.
  • Recognize opportunities and boost revenue by upselling to existing customers.
  • Responsible for building and effectively managing sales pipelines in order to meet sales targets and business objectives.  
  • Work closely with internal marketing teams to enhance sales by identifying new sales campaign opportunities.
  • Effectively and accurately utilise the company’s internal CRM system to forecast and manage pipeline.
  • Be a professional and knowledgeable ambassador for the company’s values and products.
  • Contribute to developing a high performing sales team by training, coaching and driving company best practice.
  • Continuously keep up to date with industry and market trends and be aware of competitor movements.

 

Requirements

  • Previous experience in selling technical solutions / software.
  • Proven record of success in a sales role and closing new business deals.
  • Demonstrable track record in hitting and over achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of the team and contribute to overall success.
  • Commercially aware with strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience in collaborating with Engineering and Product teams would be ideal.
  • Ability and willingness to support other team members in their development.
  • Proven ability to succeed in a busy, fast pace environment.
  • Ability to work well unsupervised and on own initiative.
  • Creative and by nature who can think outside the box.
