Overview

The Advisory Services Manager will be responsible for the daily operational management of the company’s security advisory services. As well ensuring that customers are provided with adequate security information, the successful Candidate will carry out regular reviews to ensure the ongoing improvement and efficiency of internal security procedures and processes. Whilst working closely with both internal and external partners to respond to security threats and risks, the Advisory Services Manager will be responsible to attend to data protection related queries. It is essential to have strong GDPR knowledge and proven background of working effectively with Service Management Applications.


Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Take charge of the daily operational management of advisory services.
  • Ensure that customers are provided with adequate security information.
  • Manage budget and work towards meeting KPIs to ensure continuous business improvement.
  • Prioritise workload and tasks effectively, in line with service and operational agreements.
  • Work closely with external partners to identify and eliminate business risks, threats.
  • Be first point of contact for GDPR related queries.
  • Support internal teams with completing security audits.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and support the development of security policies.
  • Implement business critical operational policies based on security and data protection requirements.
  • Ensure the ongoing improvement of security procedures and processes by carrying out regular reviews.

 

Requirements

  • Excellent GDPR knowledge is required.
  • Good understanding of IT and security technologies would be highly advantageous.
  • It would be beneficial to have good knowledge of ISO27001, NIST, OWASP and PCI DSS.
  • Job relevant qualification (CISA / CISM) is preferred.
  • Proven background in system & application support would be an advantage.
  • Strong practical background of Service Management Application administration.
  • Familiarity with Cloud infrastructure would be ideal.
  • Outstanding communication and people skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with reporting tools such as Crystal.
  • Proven experience of successful process development.
  • Innovative and strategic approach.
  • Confident and forward-thinking decision maker.
  • Proven experience of working efficiently as part of a geographical matrix team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate security risks to non-technical staff members.
