Our client, a UK based Managed Service provider, is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team in Nottingham. The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for all Microsoft-related support issues, including installation, resolving incidents and service requests, remotely and onsite. The successful candidate will need proven experience working within a technical environment with solid experience and knowledge in Microsoft.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Take ownership for all Microsoft-related support and installation, acting as the ‘go to’ Engineer.
Take a dynamic approach to resolving incidents and service requests, both remotely and onsite.
Ensure customer needs are met showing initiative.
Create, monitor and review KPIs on key areas.
Able to multi-task and support wider team members whilst working as part of a small team.
A strong technical background and knowledge in Microsoft including but not limited to – Microsoft 365 Business Suite (Office applications as well as OneDrive, SharePoint, Skype etc, Enterprise Mobility & Scaling, Intune – Mobile device and app management, Azure Active Directory – Identity & Access Management, Secure single sign-on)
Proven experience of working within a similar role / industry.
Able to execute complex IT changes.
Excellent analytical skills.
Solid problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills.
Dynamic approach to prioritising workload in a busy environment, whilst paying close attention to detail.
